The midfielder André, starter and captain of Fluminense in the 2-0 defeat to Flamengo, spoke with the journalists present at Maracanã and explained that the difficulty faced by Flu against Mengão was partly due to the fact that the team had a mixed team.

The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.

In the quest to maintain great promises under their own control, Flamengo sought to strengthen the bond with young striker André. According to the investigation by journalist “Flazoeiro”, Rubro-Negro agreed to purchase another 20% of the athlete's commercial rights with América-RJ, the training club.
The 22-year-old player, is on loan to Estrela Amadora, from Portugal. Among Flamengo fans, the boy is affectionately known as “Bruno Henrique's son”, due to the physical similarity between the players.
Before loaning the player, Rubro-Negro renewed the contract until June 2025. André returns to Ninho do Urubu after loaning to the Portuguese club after the end of the current European season. In other words, he should be integrated into the squad in June this year.
Finally, Flamengo had been trying to acquire a certain percentage since the 2022 state championship. At the time, André even had some professional opportunities.< /p>
