The State Federation of Rio de Janeiro (FERJ), defined that the Flamengo will return to the field to lift the Guanabara Cup next Saturday (2), against Madureira, ace 4pm, at Maracanã. According to information from journalist Renan Moura, the choice takes place after Mais Querido beat Fluminense, this Sunday (25), 2-0, in the penultimate round. This way, with Rubro Negro's title already guaranteed, there is no need for it to take place simultaneously with the other games.
With the victory, Mais Querido reached 24 points and has a difference of 19 goals. Fluminense comes next, with 21, but eight to spare. Nova Iguaçu, third placed for the semi-finals, also has 21, however, with a goal difference of four.
FLAMENGO MANAGER REVEALS PREFERENCE FOR DATE
Before FERJ announces the date of the match, Marcos Braz, Rubro Negro's football vice-president, revealed that he had a preference for the date, in an interview in the mixed zone of Maracanã. Highlighting that there was a conflict, as Fluminense also faces Botafogo at the Sacred Temple.
"We have already asked for a date, we passed it on to the federation to see if it is possible, respecting Fluminense, which is also the home team. . Let's see how this adjustment will be made. I think that, even considering the way Flamengo will play, they need to lose 11 goals to not keep the championship. I think that, if it can be on a day and at a time that we can make a beautiful day for Flamengo fans, I think that's what should be done", said Marcos Braz, before the definition.
SEQUENCE OF MATCHES AT MARACANÃ
Before the Flamengo will face Madureira, Fluminense will face LDU (EQU), on Thursday (29), in the return game of the Recopa Sul Americana. In this way, the Maracanã will host a sequence of three games, two in a row. This is because the tricolor team will also play at Templo Sagrado on Sunday (3), in a classic against Botafogo.
Mengão will face an important challenge against Colorado at Beira-Rio and wants a victory to remain isolated at the top of the Brazilian Championship.

Flamengo sits atop the table with 40 points, while Internacional sits in 11th place with 24 points. Recent head-to-head records also favor the leaders: in the last five rounds, Filipe Luís's team has four wins and one draw , compared to three wins, one draw, and one loss for the Gauchos.
The match will be broadcast exclusively on Premiere , Grupo Globo's pay-per-view service, available with a monthly or annual subscription. The match, which marks the first leg of the Brasileirão 's second half, will be played at 6:30 p.m. (Brasília time) at Beira-Rio Stadium in Porto Alegre.

Internacional fans promise to turn Beira-Rio into a real cauldron for the second leg of the round of 16 of the Libertadores . In just over two hours, all available tickets for the match against Flamengo, scheduled for Wednesday (20), were sold . The information was confirmed by the Rio Grande do Sul portal Revista Colorada.
The sale, initially exclusive to members of the Rio Grande do Sul club, highlighted the high expectations in Porto Alegre . The projected attendance is close to 50,000 Colorado fans for the decisive match. The red-and-black fans will also fill the area designated for visitors.
