Flamengo was beaten by São Paulo on Wednesday night (6), however, the match also marked Rubro Negro's last clash in the 2023 season. However, on the other hand, after the game, Bruno Henrique assured that he has renewed his contract with Mais Querido.

According to information from TNT Sports, Bruno Henrique stated:  "I will stay at Flamengo for another three years. It was my desire to continue at the club.” It is worth remembering that the player's current contract with Rubro Negro runs until the end of December this year, that is, it is in the final stretch.

RENEWAL AFTER LONG NOVELA

Gávea's number 27 was free to sign a pre-agreement with any other team since July 2023. However, Bruno Henrique prioritized staying at Mais Querido and denied opening talks with other teams. Palmeiras even arrived to make a tempting offer to the striker, but he rejected it.

Therefore, now, with the end of the Brazilian Championship and the 2023 season, the tendency is for Flamengo to resolve the pending issues and sign the striker's renewal . Furthermore, Everton Ribeiro also has his current contract close to ending and hopes that it will be renewed.

HOLIDAYS

With the renewal underway, Bruno Henrique and the entire Rubro Negro squad They go on vacation and only return in January 2024 to start the season competing in the Campeonato Carioca. Meanwhile, Tite meets with Flamengo's board to begin reformulating the squad.
