On the afternoon of this Sunday (14), the Flamengofaces Atlético GO in the debut of the Brazilian Championship, at the Serra Dourada Stadium, in Goiânia. Despite playing away from home, Mais Querido will have the support of the Nation. This is because all tickets available for the red-blacks were sold.


Ticket sales for the clash between Flamengo and Atlético GO started last Monday (8), from online form. Highlighting that the price of tickets for the Rubro-Negro fans was costing from R$ 150 (half) to R$ 300 (full).


The premium seats, south seats and bleachers were destined for the Nation. In this way, the fans did not disappoint and sold out tickets to support Mais Querido in the debut of the Brazilian Championship.


HALF OF THE STADIUM WAS MADE AVAILABLE TO FLAMENGO

In order to have a higher income now In the first round of the Brazilian Championship, the board of directors of Atlético GO made half of the Serra Dourada Stadium available to the fans of Flamengo. Thus, the ticket load was divided 50% for each of the teams and the promise is of a full house.


FOCUS ON THE MATCH

The Red and Black Nation has already made its part, now, it's up to Flamengo's team to win. The Mais Querido squad will hold their last training session this Saturday (13) at Ninho do Urubu before traveling to Goiânia. The match against Atlético GO will be at 4pm, this Sunday (14).

Flamengo drew 1-1 with Grêmio last Sunday (31), at Maracanã, in the 22nd round of the Brazilian Championship. After the match, which had a full house, the red-black squad was given four days of rest .


The break is due to the FIFA Date, which starts this Monday (1st). During the period, the national calendar will be paralyzed for the dispute of another round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. The group led by Filipe Luís will return on Friday (5), at Ninho do Urubu, to resume preparation for the rest of the season.


HOW WAS THE TIE


Rubro-Negro only took the lead in the second half, with a goal from Arrascaeta, following an assist from Pedro. Grêmio, however, equalized with a hotly contested penalty from the Mais Querido side , but it was converted by goalkeeper Thiago Volpi.

FLAMENGO'S NEXT GAME

Filipe Luís's team returns to action on September 14th, against Juventude, at Alfredo Jaconi Stadium, at 4 pm (Brasília time), for the 23rd round of the Brasileirão. Despite the setback, Mengão remains top of the Brasileirão with 47 points . Palmeiras, who tied with Corinthians, dropped to third place with 43. Cruzeiro, with 44, took over second place.

"He ( De La Cruz ) asked to be substituted. He recovered, had a good training session, and is back in good shape. He brings a lot of dynamism to our midfield, both in attack and defense . He's one of the pillars of the team, and I'm very happy to have him back," said the coach.


"By the time he left, we were already suffering, struggling to play. Not because of his departure per se, but because of the context of the game , where we were trying more to defend the result than maintain momentum. We ended up suffering even more," concluded Filipe Luís.

HISTORY OF PHYSICAL PROBLEMS


Since arriving at Flamengo , De La Cruz has missed 34 matches . The Uruguayan even became the subject of controversy after a former club doctor mentioned, in a WhatsApp group, the existence of an alleged chronic injury.

With the Uruguayan available again, Flamengo returns to the field only on September 14th due to the break for the FIFA Date , against Juventude, at 4 pm (Brasília time), at the Alfredo Jaconi stadium, for the 23rd round of the Brasileirão. Called up by Carlo Ancelotti, Lino will be part of the group that will play the next two games of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers: against Chile, on September 4, at Maracanã, and against Bolivia, on the 9th, in El Alto , a Bolivian city located at an altitude of 4,150 meters.


PRAISE FROM THE COACH

Filipe Luís highlighted the striker's qualities and his importance to the team: " He's a unique player. When he gets the ball, he's decisive , has a good dribble, and poses a threat, especially in areas where we need to create an advantage," he analyzed.

Despite celebrating his debut with the national team, Filipe Luís expressed concern about the forward's use against Bolivia. "I hope he plays at the Maracanã, not in Bolivia, and returns in full condition to help the team ," he said, referring to the risks of physical fatigue caused by the altitude.
