Garoto do Ninho André Luiz, who belongs to Rubro Negro and plays on loan for Estrela Amadora (POR), is in Red Bull Bragantino's sights for the 2024 season. The team from Bragança Paulista has been interested in the striker since midway through of 2022, through Thiago Scuro, director of the club.

According to findings from the Coluna do Fla report, the São Paulo team intends to sign André Luiz for 2024. The 21-year-old striker's loan to Estrela Amadora is for just one season. Therefore, until June this year he will play for the Portuguese team.

The player is managed by OTB Sports and has 11 games and two goals for the Portuguese team in the current season. André did not have space in Mais Querido's professional squad in 2023, however, he became an important part of Estrela Amadora's squad, which is also evaluating a proposal to Mais Querido to have the striker permanently.

ANDRÉ'S PASSAGE LUIZ NO FLAMENGO

The young son of Ninho has a contract with Rubro Negro until May 2025. However, the two parties have not yet negotiated a renewal of the contract. Remembering that during 2023 for the Mais Querido professional team, the player played only five games (two for the Brasileiro and three for Carioca), scoring one goal.

FLAMENGO WANTS BRAGANTINO PLAYERS

If Red Bull Bragantino wants to sign players from Mais Querido, Flamengo is also interested in athletes from the Bragança Paulista team. This is because Rubro Negro is trying to sign defender Léo Ortiz and left-back Juninho Capixaba, however, the São Paulo team is asking for around R$100 million for the pair.

Speculated as a possible reinforcement of Flamengo to fill the gap left by Pedro, striker Anthony Martial is free on the market, but has not played since December 9, 2023. On that occasion, Manchester United, his former club, entered the field to face Bournemouth and lost 3-0 in the Premier League. Martial was a starter and played for 56 minutes.

At the beginning of the year, the French striker suffered a groin injury that required surgery. Therefore, he was away for around 42 days, only returning in March. Even though there were three months left on his contract, Manchester United chose to let go of the player. Since then, Martial has been evaluating his next club and Flamengo is paying attention to his movements.

Just like Flamengo, Anthony Martial suffered from injuries in 2023/24. The star had several physical problems that kept him away from the field for a total of 60 days. Due to muscle pain, the player was not available for United in 12 matches last season.

Status of the deal between Flamengo and Anthony Martial

If the If Flamengo is really interested in the Frenchman, they will have to race against time and agree on the signing by Monday (9). Registration for free players is closing. According to Italian journalist Luca Bendoni, who works at the Gianluca Dimarzio portal, the deal could come to fruition soon.

Offered to Flamengo by his staff, Martial also had a drop in his personal numbers. In the 2022/23 season, the player scored six goals and provided two assists in the Premier League. In 2023/24, it was just one goal and no pass that resulted in the ball in the opponents' net.
