Vasco Da Gama doesn't give up. This time, the hill club went to court to try to suspend the bidding process for Maracanã. The opening of the envelopes with the technical proposals, in principle, is scheduled for next Tuesday, the 5th.

The club filed a writ of mandamus on Wednesday with a request for an injunction to interrupt the bidding process. Vasco has two competitors in the bidding: one is the duo Flamengo and Fluminense, the other is RNGD, a company from Arena 360.

The Vasco legal team points out possible technical irregularities in the participation of bidders , such as the absence of a negative certificate for Service Tax of Any Nature (ISSQN), the absence of proof of the accountant's qualification and of valid proof of registration with the Municipal Treasury, for example.

In the case of the pair Fla-Flu, which currently manages the stadium , Vasco alleged precarious management, especially regarding the situation of the pitch. And he recalled that Maracanãzinho, which is part of the complex, was inactive for a long period.

"In other words, despite several opinions from the PGE to the contrary, for 6 years the Commissions of Supervision and Consultancy of the Maracanã TPU invited Flamengo and Fluminense to sign new use permits with exemption from bidding due to emergency, while they did not monitor the lack of necessary corrective maintenance at Maracanãzinho, nor the deplorable state of the lawn", says an excerpt from the opening.

The action takes place in the Second Chamber of Public Law of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJ-RJ). So far, two judges have declared themselves suspects to judge the case.

On Saturday afternoon (28), Flamengo held its last training session before facing Athletico-PR in the Brasileirão. A clash that could decide the future of coach Tite at Mengão, was attended by all the players considered to be starters, despite the expectation of a mixed team for Sunday (29).

In content published on social media of Flamengo, names like Bruno Henrique and Alex Sandro, who were starters in the Libertadores elimination, last Thursday (26), appear alongside young fledglings, such as Matheus Gonçalves and Evertton, who have been widely used in the “reserve team ” by Tite.

Flamengo may have held the last training session under Tite's command.

With his destiny becoming more uncertain at Flamengo, Tite may having led his last training session as coach of Rubro-Negro. There are four games without a win, a bad result, or poorly presented football against Athletico-PR, could mean the end of the line for the coach, just under a year after his arrival.

In the semi-finals of Copa do Brasil, where they face Corinthians, and in the G4 of the Brasileirão, Rubro-Negro's objective is clear, to become CdB champion, and remain in the classification zone for the next Libertadores in the points championship.
