Created by Ninho and São Gonçalo, Vinícius Júnior founded the Vini Jr Institute to help young students from Rio, investing in education out of his own pocket so that Brazilian children have the opportunity to study in better conditions. The athlete joined his personal friend Justin Jefferson to carry out renovations at Escola Municipal Estados Unidos, in Santa Teresa.

Star of the NFL, American football league, Justin Jefferson seems to have fallen in love with Brazil. This is because, after visiting the country and after watching a game at Maracanã, the Minnesota Vikings star wanted to contribute to the Vinícius Júnior Institute.

Improvements at the school include a Base Educational Technologies Center, in addition to an innovation hub, with infrastructure, educational methodologies and continuing training. Just like other schools helped by Vini Jr, Escola Municipal Estados Unidos now has a playful, modern and very well equipped space with various tools and cutting-edge technology.

CHILDREN GET THRILLED WITH THE HELP OF VINI JR

In images shared on social media, it is possible to see the children's excitement over the investment made by the Vini Jr Institute. The star also recorded a special message for the little ones.

So that the televisions, notebooks, tablets and even cell phones made available by Justin Jefferson arrived in Brazil, NFL Brasil and the Effect Sport agency played an important role.

In Flamengo's last game, the team's performance brought to light a series of worrying issues, especially with regard to the starting goalkeeper. The defeat not only removed the team from the possibility of winning three important points in the Brazilian Championship, but also raised doubts about the emotional and technical state of the goalkeeper. According to content creator @falsonove2.bsky.social, the impact of the match goes beyond the result on the scoreboard. He states that Flamengo not only lost the match, but may have compromised the confidence of their goalkeeper for future competitions, especially in highly relevant tournaments, such as cups.

Flamengo is under the command of the coach Tite for more than a year, and despite some phases of evolution in the team, the latest performances are far from reflecting what was expected with the coach's arrival. The game in question, which culminated in this defeat, revealed weaknesses not only in the defensive sector, but also in the emotions of some athletes, especially the goalkeeper. A position already naturally marked by pressure, failures at decisive moments can have a significant impact on the future performance of those who defend the team's goals.

FLAMENGO HAS SERIOUS PROBELMS

@falsonove2's speech echoes a real concern in the sports world. A goalkeeper, who should be the last solid barrier on the field, can see his confidence shaken by a performance below expectations, and this is directly reflected in the next matches. If Flamengo, as he suggests, lost "the goalkeeper of the cups", this means that the team may have to deal with a new challenge: how to rebuild the morale and confidence of an essential player in the decision-making scenario.

< This situation becomes even more complex when we remember that Flamengo does not have many experienced names on the bench to replace the starting goalkeeper in important competitions. Confidence in the squad, especially in a goalkeeper, is essential for the team's good progress. A goalkeeper without confidence tends to hesitate in crucial moments, and in high-level football, this can cost titles.

This analysis does not take away the responsibility of coach Tite, who has been in charge of Flamengo for more than a year. year. He has had enough time to get to know the squad, implement his philosophy and create tactical alternatives for adverse situations. However, the impression that remains is that the team, in decisive moments, still fails to deal with the pressure. And this affects both the collective and the individual.

Flamengo began its preparations for the clash against Peñarol, in the return of the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores. The match is scheduled to take place at the Campeón del Siglo Stadium, in Montevideo, Uruguay, and promises to be a closely contested duel. Mengão, in turn, decided to adopt a different strategy for this trip.

EARLY TRAVEL

Traditionally, Mais Querido travels to away games one day before the match. However, for the clash with Peñarol, scheduled for Thursday (26), the club's board opted to advance the schedule, scheduling the match for Tuesday (24). With this, Rubro-Negro will arrive in the Uruguayan capital two days in advance of the decisive duel.

It is important to highlight that, this season, Flamengo had already adopted a similar measure, traveling two days before for a game in Bolivia against Bolívar. This decision was made due to the altitude conditions of La Paz, which is more than 3,600 meters high. However, the same kind of concern is not necessary in Montevideo.

After a 1-0 defeat in the first leg, Flamengo has a challenge ahead: they need to beat Peñarol by a difference of two goals to guarantee qualification to the Libertadores semi-finals. If the victory is only by one goal, the place will be decided by penalty kicks.

< p>CONFRONTATION IS SCHEDULED

The clash between Flamengo and Peñarol is scheduled for 7pm (Brasília time) this Thursday (26), in Uruguay. With a scenario of expectation, fans hope that Mengão will show its strength and be able to advance in the continental competition.

Edmundo, one of the great center forwards in the history of Brazilian football and Vasco's idol, had a discreet spell at Flamengo, despite the high expectations surrounding his arrival at the club. On his YouTube channel, the former player recalled how he went to Flamengo after a successful career at Palmeiras, which came to an end due to high costs, at which point Flamengo made an attractive proposal.

“No Palmeiras I was paid by the investor, Parmalat. But, I started to get expensive. In 1995, the year I went to Flamengo, it was the worst year for Palmeiras/Parmalat in Brazil in terms of investments and achievements. Flamengo appeared in the form of Kleber Leite, he told me a story and I ended up going”, revealed Edmundo.

About his brief stay at Flamengo, Edmundo stated that he regrets it, although he has no resentment against the club. He highlighted that the experience was not successful due to problems in the "project" in which he was involved.

“It was the worst decision I made in my life. Nothing against the club, Flamengo, but, yes, with the people. They weren't nice to me. It wasn't against my will, it was a matter of moment, occasion. p>Edmundo apologizes to Vasco fans for playing for Flamengo
