The former athlete charged Rubro Negro around R$4 million
|
0Last Tuesday (7), Flamengo won the labor action filed by right-back Pará. The former player who defended the Manto Rubro Negro between 2015 and 2019, was denied the action for R$ 4 million from the club. The Regional Labor Court in Rio (TRT/RJ) understood that there was a statute of limitations in the complaint made by the player.
According to information from the newspaper "O Globo", Pará charged amounts for the four and a half year period he defended Flamengo. Among some points in the process, the full-back requested nighttime bonus, 13th salary, Service Time Guarantee Fund (FGTS), double holiday, proportional vacation, paid weekly rest, severance pay.
Pará arrived at Flamengo in January 2015 and, despite never being unanimous among fans, he remained at the club until August 2019. At Época, the player lost space with the arrival of Rafinha and reached an agreement with Rubro Negro to terminate the contract. He then signed for Santos on a free transfer. Currently, the right-back is without a club.
Also according to "O Globo", Flamengo proved that the allegation that Pará and his lawyer missed the case hearing due to COVID was false. With this, Rubro Negro demonstrated to the judge that both were lying, as the laboratory denied that there was an exam.
Now, Rubro Negro will ask both the player and the lawyer to be convicted of bad form . In other words, because they act with the aim of causing damage to the process, intentionally harming the adverse party or the judicial system itself.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.
