Last Thursday (19), singer and actor Will Smith was one of the main attractions at Rock in Rio, performing on the Sunset stage. Before taking the stage, the Hollywood star received a personalized Flamengo shirt, delivered by Brazilian singer Naldo Benny, who took advantage of the moment to share the special occasion on social media.
In a post on Instagram, Naldo celebrated the meeting with the American star, famous for films such as "Bad Boys" and the series "Um Maluco no Pedaço". "Fu** shit lol. It's Naldo and Will Smith over there", wrote the singer in the caption of the photo in which he appears alongside Will Smith, tagging the actor in the publication.

The shirt given by Naldo to the actor was model number 1 of the current Mengão season, personalized with the number 10 and the Will Smith's name on the back. The gift symbolized the star's rapprochement with Brazilian football and the red-and-black club, in a gesture of affection before his brief, but memorable, presentation at the event.

Will Smith took to the Sunset stage and gave a short performance, lasting just 18 minutes. In his performance, the American actor and singer brought hits such as "Man in Black", "Work of Art" and the soundtrack to the film "Bad Boys", showing excitement when interacting with the audience. During the show, Smith said a few words in Portuguese and expressed his affection for Rio de Janeiro.
Despite the enthusiasm at Rock in Rio, the night did not end on a positive note for CRF. On the same day, at Maracanã, Mais Querido was defeated by Peñarol 1-0, complicating their situation in the Libertadores quarter-finals.

Sheherazade's statement came shortly after an episode in which she would have mocked her former broadcaster, SBT, where she worked for several years. The gaffe happened precisely on the day of Matheus Ceará's debut in the Sunday magazine, a fact that also generated comments among the public.
DEFEAT IN THE AUDIENCE
Domingo Legal, once again, surpassed Domingo Record with a significant difference. According to the numbers released, Celso Portiolli's program reached the mark of 6 audience points, while Sheherazade's program had an average of around 3.4 points.
The main agenda of the Record edition was the press conference by comedian Matheus Ceará, who visited the new headquarters of the reality show A Fazenda 2024 and revealed some of the cast, but still failed to attract the necessary attention to beat the competition.

Planet Hemp's lead singer, Marcelo D2, expressed criticism of the ostentatious theme present in trap lyrics, during a press conference at Rock in Rio 2024. The singer, who took to the stage with Planet Hemp last Sunday ( 15/9) and will return to the festival on Saturday (21/9) with a rap project, stated that the excessive appreciation of luxury and success in music of the genre can be a "trap" for young artists.
< Marcelo D2 was emphatic in his opinion about the recurring theme in trap: "I think it's all shit. This movement nowadays among younger kids, I think there's something that bothers me a little in this new generation, which is ostentation , I think it's a f*cked up trap." The musician warned that the reality of most favelas is still far from what is portrayed in the lyrics, emphasizing that "the favela has not won, it is still starving, without basic sanitation, without health."The first day of Rock in Rio this year was dominated by trap, with performances by Brazilian artists such as Orochi, Oruam and Chefin, as well as American rapper Travis Scott. Trap has been gaining more and more space on streaming platforms, often highlighting themes related to luxury and success. However, for Marcelo D2, as long as favelas continue to face challenges such as lack of infrastructure and essential services, the victory speech will be superficial.
D2 also mentioned rapper Emicida as an example of a more collective and less individualistic vision. "The street is us, it's not me", stated D2, reinforcing the idea that the community's true victory will come when all its members benefit, and not just a few. The musician highlighted that individual success does not represent a structural change in the living conditions of the majority.

Flamengo's 1-0 defeat to Peñarol, from Uruguay, this Thursday (19), in a match valid for the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores da América, generated a wave of criticism from both fans and former club idols. Coach Tite was booed by those present at Maracanã and, on social media, he became the target of several complaints.
Among the most exalted voices is that of former player Beto, who defended the CRF among 1998 and 2002 and is remembered for titles such as the Campeonato Carioca, the Champions Cup and the Mercosul Cup. In a video shared after the confrontation, Beto spared no harsh words against the former coach of the Brazilian team.
Visibly outraged by Mais Querido's performance and the lineup promoted by Tite, the former midfielder made an outburst full of criticism of the coach. In the video, Beto asks for Tite's resignation and questions his decisions at the head of Flamengo, using insults and aggressive terms.
“A coach like that, naughty, with a group like that and doesn't know how to form the team? Go ahead and take it... Tite. Run from Flamengo, you son of a bitch... Fuck you...”, the ex-athlete raged, asking the coach to leave command of the team after the setback at home.
