The Flamengo returns to the field this Wednesday (17), when it faces São Paulo in the second round of the Brasileirão. However, Mais Querido had doubts about whether fans would be present at Allianz Parque, next Sunday (21), in the game against Palmeiras.

Thus, on the morning of this Tuesday (16), Diogo Lemos, leader of Flamengo, confirmed on its social networks that Nação Rubro-Negra will be present at the São Paulo team's stadium. According to information from the Coluna do Fla report, Mais Querido will have around 1,700 tickets available.

“The game against Palmeiras, on Sunday, in SP, will not be with only fans. There will be online ticket sales for our fans. They will release the information soon. It is our fans’ right to follow Flamengo wherever they play and we will always fight for it”, said Diogo Lemos on his social networks.

LAST MATCH BETWEEN FLA AND PALMEIRAS

< The fans of Flamengo had recently raised the question about the charge of tickets for visiting fans at Allianz Parque. This is because there was a chance that the match would take place without the red and black teams, as the last time the teams faced each other in São Paulo it ended with the death of a fan from Palmeiras.

FOCUS ON THE CONFRONTATION AGAINST SÃO PAULO

Before Mais Querido focuses on the match against Palmeiras, the squad focuses on the clash against São Paulo. Rubro-Negro hosts the São Paulo team at Maracanã, at 9:30 pm, this Wednesday (17). The game will be valid for the 2nd round of the Brasileirão.

Speculated as a possible reinforcement of Flamengo to fill the gap left by Pedro, striker Anthony Martial is free on the market, but has not played since December 9, 2023. On that occasion, Manchester United, his former club, entered the field to face Bournemouth and lost 3-0 in the Premier League. Martial was a starter and played for 56 minutes.

At the beginning of the year, the French striker suffered a groin injury that required surgery. Therefore, he was away for around 42 days, only returning in March. Even though there were three months left on his contract, Manchester United chose to let go of the player. Since then, Martial has been evaluating his next club and Flamengo is paying attention to his movements.

Just like Flamengo, Anthony Martial suffered from injuries in 2023/24. The star had several physical problems that kept him away from the field for a total of 60 days. Due to muscle pain, the player was not available for United in 12 matches last season.

Status of the deal between Flamengo and Anthony Martial

If the If Flamengo is really interested in the Frenchman, they will have to race against time and agree on the signing by Monday (9). Registration for free players is closing. According to Italian journalist Luca Bendoni, who works at the Gianluca Dimarzio portal, the deal could come to fruition soon.

Offered to Flamengo by his staff, Martial also had a drop in his personal numbers. In the 2022/23 season, the player scored six goals and provided two assists in the Premier League. In 2023/24, it was just one goal and no pass that resulted in the ball in the opponents' net.

When the Flamengo delegation embarked for São Paulo this Saturday afternoon (31), Diogo Lemos, member of Mais Querido's football council, opened up about the club's movements in the transfer window.

< "We are always paying attention to the market, but, with this window movement, we are ending our participation. Unless a good opportunity arises there, or an exit with replacement. But, now, we understand that there is a good squad to compete in competitions", said Diogo Lemos. REINFORCEMENTS FOR THE SEQUENCE OF THE SEASON

Mais Querido made four signings in the current transfer window: Carlos Alcaraz, Alex Sandro, Michael and Gonzalo Plata. This is because Rubro-Negro needed to reinforce itself after injuries to Matías Viña and Everton Cebolinha.

The transfer window is still open. However, Mais Querido will not hire any more athletes. Thus, the four reinforcements will be able to help Rubro-Negro in the three competitions in which the club is still alive: Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil and Libertadores.

FOCUS ON THE NEXT GAME

Thus, with two of the four reinforcements, Tite concluded the preparation of the red and black squad this Saturday (31). Mais Querido faces Corinthians this Sunday (1) at 4pm, at Neo Química Arena. The game will be valid for the 25th round of the Brasileirão.
