Negotiations between right-back Danilo and Flamengo are progressing, at least that's what the RTI Esporte portal guarantees. According to the website, the player's staff and Mengão already have a verbal agreement. The idea would be for a contract until June 2026. At 32 years old, Danilo would seek an amicable termination with Juventus, from Italy, in June this year.

Internally, Flamengo rules out involving any amount financial institution to buy Danilo in the window that will open in July. It is worth remembering that the full-back's commitment to the Italian team only ends in June 2025. In other words, if the European team does not release him, it is unlikely that the player would leave Velha Senhora before next year.

According to the MRN portal, Flamengo's most focused attempt on Danilo will be in the second week of July (specifically, the 10th), a period that will open the transfer window. The right-back has been in European football since 2012 and before Juventus, he played for Porto, Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Currently, coach Tite has Wesley and Guillermo Varela for the full-back position right. The coach trusts the options, but would like to have a player of Danilo's stature in the sector. The athlete welcomes a return to Brazil, a country where he played for América-MG and Santos, where he made history by winning the 2011 Libertadores with Neymar.
