Rio Grande do Sul continues to be ravaged by floods after heavy rains in recent weeks and this has caused a big question mark over the shutdown of the Brazilian football, as only the teams from Rio Grande do Sul will have their games postponed. This Saturday (11), the CBF published a note demanding an urgent position from all clubs on the situation.
“Thus, considering that the CBF is the organizing entity of several other championships, we forward this letter for clubs affiliated to the State Federations and the DF, so that they expressly and urgently take a position on the strike recommended by the Minister of Sports”, says a letter sent by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
CLUBS RESPONSIBILITY?
Last Friday (10), during the Copa América call, Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the CBF, made a statement that goes against the letter issued by the entity this Saturday ( 11). At the time, the representative said that the confederation does not have "supreme power" and that he wanted the clubs' position on the situation.
"Every decision regarding a competition — starting, having, suspending, extending , postpone —, the CBF will discuss it jointly with the clubs. The power of the CBF is not a supreme and absolute power. It is a limited power. in a Club Technical Council, this involves all competitions. The Technical Council has to meet", said Ednaldo Rodrigues.
"When it defines a competition, the CBF holds Technical Council meetings for Series A and B. , C, D and grassroots competitions. If a strike is requested, we will inform each club, each series of these clubs, so that they can take a position in relation to the Ministry of Sports document. , if necessary, bring together the Technical Council so that they can deliberate. “Look, can we stop all competition?”, added the CBF president.
POSITIONING OF THE CLUBS
So , with the CBF passing on its responsibilities to the clubs, the Flamengowill have to have a position on the progress of Brazilian football. For now, only Grêmio, Juventude and Internacional matches will have their matches postponed.

Before the ball rolled, Léo Nannetti said he received a special message from Agustín Rossi, the starting goalkeeper for the professional squad. The encouragement served as fuel for a great performance: " Rossi sent me a message before the game to reassure me. I was able to put into practice what he and the goalkeeping coach, André, had said.
