Flamengo published, this Monday (10), a strong official statement in which it accuses Estrela Amadora , from Portugal, of using legal resources as a maneuver to delay the payment of a millionaire debt related to the transfers of players Igor Jesus and André Luiz. According to the Rio de Janeiro club, even after favorable decisions by FIFA, including a formal conviction in April, with a deadline of 45 days to pay off more than 2.5 million euros, Estrela Amadora remains in default.
The Portuguese club remains in default, even after several decisions favorable to Flamengo”, says Flamengo
"Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that Estrela Amadora, from Portugal, has adopted measures with the clear intention of postponing the payment of amounts owed for the transfers of athletes Igor Jesus Lima and André Luiz Inácio da Silva. Even after several favorable decisions by FIFA to Flamengo, including a formal conviction in April, with a 45-day deadline to pay more than €2.5 million plus interest and fines, the Portuguese club remains in default.
On June 5th, Estrela Amadora appealed to the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport), through an Appeal, solely and exclusively with the aim of postponing the deadline for payment of the amounts owed to Flamengo, since the appeal temporarily suspends the final deadline for payment, originally set for June 29th.
Flamengo repudiates the use of legal mechanisms with the sole purpose of avoiding compliance with obligations already recognized and formalized, a practice that favors bad payers. The club reiterates that it has presented all evidence proving the debt, including invoices sent and confirmed by Estrela Amadora, and will continue to act in the appropriate instances to fully guarantee its rights recognized in the decision handed down by FIFA."

Young striker Wallace Yan, 20, will be officially warned by Flamengo's board after being sent off in the match against Bahia , held last Sunday (5). The player received two yellow cards in a period of just ten minutes , in a move considered immature and avoidable by the coaching staff.
According to information released by journalist Venê Casagrande, the club decided not to remove the player from the main squad, but to impose an internal punishment of an educational nature . The measure aims to educate the player about the responsibility of acting with emotional balance in decisive matches.
The club's board intends to handle the case as part of the striker's professional development process. Coach Filipe Luís and members of the coaching staff will participate in discussions with the player, reinforcing the importance of discipline and posture on the field.
" Filipe Luís will speak with him, as will club officials. The goal is to make him understand the magnitude of the mistake and its consequences," Venê said. The expulsion came at an important time for Wallace Yan, who was trying to regain his place in the first team.
With the suspension confirmed, Wallace Yan will continue training normally with the group, but under the supervision of the coaching staff. To become a regular player again, the Flamengo forward will need to demonstrate commitment and maturity on and off the field.

In a close battle for the lead in the Brazilian Championship , Flamengo and Palmeiras will face off on October 19th at 6:30 pm at the Maracanã stadium for the 29th round of the competition. The Rio de Janeiro club released details of the schedule and ticket prices this week , which have already sparked debate among fans on social media.
According to the club, fan members of the Nação Maraca and Nação Sem Fronteiras plans will have priority in purchasing tickets, being able to purchase up to two tickets per match, depending on their star level. Sales are made exclusively through the website ingressos.flamengo.com.br.
Prices vary by sector and fan plan . In the North Sector, the price for members starts at R$35 , while the general public will pay R$140. In the Lower West Sector, tickets cost R$200 (half-price R$100).

The announcement of ticket prices for the Conmebol Libertadores semifinal match between Flamengo and Racing (ARG) has sparked a strong backlash on social media. Some fans consider the prices to be high and believe the club is driving the "common people" away from Maracanã , which, according to many, directly impacts the club's traditional energy in the stands.
The match takes place on October 22nd at 9:30 pm at Maracanã Stadium. The club has released the sales schedule and prices for members and the general public , with tickets ranging from R$87.50 to R$600 in conventional areas, and exceeding R$2,000 for premium packages.
On social media, many Flamengo fans expressed dissatisfaction with the prices. The main criticism is that the high cost prevents access for some of the more popular fans , who traditionally provide the vibrant atmosphere and parties in the stands. "I already foresee a silent Maracanã," commented one fan in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter).
