Corinthians, Flamengo and nine other teams will compete for a place in the Panamerican Esports Games that will be given to the winner of the Brazilian Championship of the Brazilian Confederation of Electronic Sports (CBDEL). The information was confirmed to Dust2 Brasil by the entity.
Dishonestpug, FEARWW, Floripa Stars, GodGenesis, INSANUS, SAIDERA, Smoke, Think Ball and Tilt Fox are also in the running for the national qualifier. The Brazilian Championship is scheduled to be played from May 7th to 14th and divided into two phases: the initial phase in a Swiss system and the playoffs with four finalists.
The report found that it is CBDEL's intention to hold the final phase in person. If this is not possible, the games that will define the Brazilian representative in the "Pan dos Esports" will take place online.
The Brazilian Championship was postponed three times, which resulted in teams being able to register until April 11 . Only organizations that have joined the confederation's federations are eligible to participate. The "Pan dos Esports" itself had a change of date and will now take place from August 24th to September 1st in Rio de Janeiro. The event will have women's and men's CS2 stages, with the first classifying three teams and the other, four.
Better-known participants in the Brazilian Championship, Corinthians and Flamengo, have incomplete lines. Rubro-Negro has been looking for new players for the longest time. In March the team suffered a double loss with the departure of Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles and Alexandre "ALLE" Santos.
As for Corinthians, the team lost two players after performing in the Global Esports Tour showmatch (GET ) Rio 2024 against Flamengo itself. Brothers Leonardo "Leomonster" Enrique and Emerson "desh" Enrique left the team.

The first two sets had a similar storyline: Sesc Flamengo dominated technically and tactically, but faced resistance from Tijuca Tênis Clube. In the first, the red-and-black team opened up a six-point lead, but saw their opponent close in late in the set, finishing 25-21.
The balance continued in the second set. The teams were tied at 20-20, until Mengão managed to open up a two-point lead and close it out at 25-23, extending their lead.
