Corinthians is experiencing a crisis in the goalkeeper position, with the departure of Cássio to Cruzeiro and Carlos Miguel to English football. Therefore, the São Paulo club is in a hurry to sign another athlete in this position. The target is now goalkeeper Santos, who has advanced negotiations. Flamengo's holder and champion of the Libertadores in 2022, the archer is currently on the Fortaleza bench.
Corinthians' idea is to complete the transfer before the opening of the transfer window, which takes place on the 10th of July. The São Paulo club understands that Santos has the best value for money on the market at the moment, as the goalkeeper is undervalued, being João Ricardo's backup at Fortaleza.
