Rubro-negro's desire is to buy the Gasologista land for up to R$250 million. Rio de Janeiro City Hall puts pressure on Caixa
|
0On his social networks, the deputy Pedro Paulo encouraged Flamengo's fans about the possible stadium in Gasologista, in the Porto Maravilha region, in the center of Rio. Commenting on a post by Mayor Eduardo Paes, Pedro said that Mengão's new house will change the face of the city's central region. Furthermore, he revealed that the operation is 'almost there'. In other words, close to a happy ending.
“Even with the clear talk of our mayor Eduardo Paes, about the Gasometer land, there are still people who don't have faith. But you can be sure: it's almost there! Let’s make this work happen that will change the face of downtown Rio”, wrote Pedro Paulo.
On Twitter/X, Paes reinforced the desire to transfer the construction potential of Gávea to reduce the cost to Flamengo: “We are willing to transfer constructive potential to Flamengo. We are talking about a heritage site in Rio that absurdly does not have its own stadium. If that wasn't enough, the proposed development adds value to the region.”
Paes wants to hurry up in purchasing the land from Gasologista to Flamengo“It's been a long time to talk (since the Bolsonaro government) for a sale without any favors. Those who are providing the conditions for the account to close are the people of Rio through their city hall. ‘Let’s get things moving,” he concluded. Flamengo's desire is to buy the Gasometer land for up to R$250 million, but Caixa Econômica Federal, which is being pressured by City Hall, wants R$400 million.
By December, the situation could be defined.
