On his social networks, the deputy Pedro Paulo encouraged Flamengo's fans about the possible stadium in Gasologista, in the Porto Maravilha region, in the center of Rio. Commenting on a post by Mayor Eduardo Paes, Pedro said that Mengão's new house will change the face of the city's central region. Furthermore, he revealed that the operation is 'almost there'. In other words, close to a happy ending.
“Even with the clear talk of our mayor Eduardo Paes, about the Gasometer land, there are still people who don't have faith. But you can be sure: it's almost there! Let’s make this work happen that will change the face of downtown Rio”, wrote Pedro Paulo.
On Twitter/X, Paes reinforced the desire to transfer the construction potential of Gávea to reduce the cost to Flamengo: “We are willing to transfer constructive potential to Flamengo. We are talking about a heritage site in Rio that absurdly does not have its own stadium. If that wasn't enough, the proposed development adds value to the region.”

On the afternoon of this past Saturday (28), Flamengo visited Fluminense in a game valid for the first leg of the Carioca U20 Women's final. The teams were only tied at 1-1 and, now, Mais Querido needs to win the return duel to become champion.
In the match between group leaders in the first phase, Flamengo and Fluminense played a busy game, with command of the tricolor team. However, the confrontation ended with no change in the score, and the decision was made on October 5th, in Gávea.
MATCH SUMMARYFluminense were the hosts of the match and started better, imposing himself in the confrontation. However, it was the Mais Querido who opened the scoring first. In the 17th minute, Mariana Fernandes took advantage of the opponent's defense and sent it into the back of the net.
