MISS BRAZIL AND CULTURE

In an interview with the portal R7 Esportes, the player spoke about the possibility of returning to Brazil, and about the longing he feels for Brazilian culture and cuisine living in North America.

“I think that living in Brazil, for now, we [Cairo and his wife] don’t think about. I have two young children, ages 2 and 3, and they are very used to it here [Chicago]. In fact, we're going to Brazil for the first time next month. But we never say no to Brazil because we have a lot of family there, we really like Brazilian culture”, he said, talking about the quality of life, but adding it to cuisine.

“Even here we have barbecues, the We go to Brazilian markets and satisfy our longing for farofa, cheese bread. So Brazil will always be inside me. And now it depends on what the children will be doing when the time comes to decide where we will live”, added Cairo Santos.

DREAM OF DEFENDING FLAMENGO AND PROMOTING SPORT IN BRAZIL< Cairo also took the opportunity to talk about a possible return to Brazil and stay connected with American football in general. He also reported his desire to play for Flamengo one day.

“I do intend, after my career is over, to still be involved in American football. I've worked with technical schools that have helped me along my journey and I love working with that. The feedback I have from athletes with whom I was able to participate in camps, not only here (United States), but also in Brazil, has been something that moves me. So it's very gratifying for me, it's something I want to continue doing”, declared the NFL athlete.

“If my presence helps to grow the sport, to generate more sponsorship and audience for the sport, I will there with my little 40-year-old leg and I do kick it a few times. I think it would be really cool to experience this with Brazilian players, with fans who are increasingly following the sport. Flamengo, if it wants to open its doors one day for the 40-year-old, I’ll be ready”, concluded Cairo.
