Highlight from Flamengo, Nigerian striker Shola, champion of the Libertadores under-20, is increasingly at home at Rubro Negro. After winning the continent's main title in the youth categories, the young man revealed a great inspiration in another champion of the tournament: Bruno Henrique.
The admiration and inspiration for Gávea's number 27 is no wonder. This is because Shola's positioning and playing style is similar to that of Bruno Henrique. Proof of this is that the young Nigerian stated that he tries to learn every time he sees the Most Wanted's idol play.
“He's fast. He's tall, black. He plays on the wing and tends to run a lot. I like the his playing style. Every time he plays, I try to learn something from him", said the young man, in an interview with GE.
RECEPTION OF DAVID LUIZ
In addition to highlighting the admiration for Bruno Henrique, Shola also spoke about defender David Luiz. This is because, according to the attacker, the defender was one of the most attentive and receptive during the adaptation process to the Flamengo.
"On my first day with the professional, I was a little scared, I didn't know what to say. David Luiz tried to speak to me in English, so those were happy days", said Shola
FLAMENGO EVALUATES SHOLA PURCHASE
Even though he is happy at Mais Querido, Shola's future at the club is not yet defined. This is because the young man has a loan contract until June, and Rubro Negro needs to exercise the right to purchase to continue with the attacker. To complete the contract definitively, Flamengo will have to pay 500 thousand dollars, the amount agreed with Remo Stars (NIG).
The team, which needed to turn around a 3-1 deficit in the first match, failed to take advantage of opportunities and ended up conceding two goals to Vasco in the second half.

Flamengo had to make up for a 3-1 deficit from the first leg of the U-16 Rio Cup final against Vasco, and ended up losing again, this time 2-0, on Sunday morning (29), at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea. The team worked hard on the field, almost managed to open the scoring on two occasions, but ended up conceding two goals in the second half.
As is the case in most title-winning games, Flamengo and Vasco played a tight duel at the beginning, with the game largely concentrated in the midfield. The exceptions were corners and crosses into the box. The first dangerous shot ended up being from the opponent, at 18 minutes.
The need to win caused anxiety in the red-and-black team, which sometimes rushed into the outcome of plays. Despite having more of the ball and staying more in the attacking field, Fla had difficulty breaking through Vasco's blockade. There were many blocked shots and a free kick hit into the wall that ended with the goalkeeper saving the rebound, at 39 minutes.
Flamengo started the second half well. They had a chance after just one minute, with two attempts by number 10 Guilherme Ivo, but the goalkeeper managed to save it. The best chance came in the second minute, when Pedro Henrique crossed and Guilherme Ivo finished again. This time the defense cleared it on the line.
Better for Vasco, who ended up scoring twice, in the 14th minute, from a free kick, and in the 22nd minute. The game continued without any major scoring chances. Flamengo fought hard on the field in an attempt to react, while the opponent tried to pass the time and close in on a counterattack. There were no more important moves until the final whistle.

The following minute, Diego Guimarães crossed from the right and Luiz Guilherme almost reached the ball inside the penalty area. In the 34th minute, Lucas Falcone made a long pass to Ryan Roberto on the left. The forward dribbled past the defender and shot into the right corner, with no chance of defense: 3 x 1.

In the 40th minute, Eduardo Clasen made an incredible save from a free kick, sending a ball that went into the left corner for a corner kick.

Flamengo 's equalizer was scored by João VItor, who took advantage of a rebound from a cross from the right and struck hard in the 26th minute. Three minutes later, the red-and-black team conceded the fifth goal, from a free kick. In the 41st minute, Eduardo Clasen saved a shot from inside the area, clearing it for a corner with his feet. Flamengo beat Fluminense 3-2 in the first match of the Campeonato Carioca under-15 category . The boys from the nest started in front, but were turned around by the tricolor and had to run after it to turn the duel around and have the advantage for the return game.
The game started with a lot of effort, with plays concentrated in the midfield and few chances to score. Despite having more of the ball, Fluminense was unable to create any danger in attack. Nothing very important happened until the water break. Soon after, however, Flamengo scored a great goal. Leonardo Gabriel crossed from the right and Davi Fraga scored with a backheel in the 27th minute.
The advantage on the scoreboard allowed the red-black team to grow in the match and have a greater offensive presence. However, it was the opponent who came close to creating danger just before the referee blew the whistle to end the first half.
After the break, Fluminense equalized after just 2 minutes, the second time they attacked, from a corner kick. The second half continued without any important attacking moves until the opponent scored once again in the 15th minute.
Mengão equalized in the 22nd minute, in a well-worked play by Davi Fraga who opened the field for Zé Eduardo to cross to Leonardo Gabriel's head. The ball ended up in the goalkeeper's left corner.
The goal was a great benefit for Zé Eduardo. In another quick attack, defender Samuel launched the number 25, who assisted the equalizer, who ran down the right and touched the ball past the goalkeeper to score Flamengo's third goal, in the 29th minute.
Four minutes later, Zé Eduardo ended up missing an incredible chance, face to face with the goalkeeper, who saved it with his foot. In the last play of the match, Leonardo Gabriel missed another chance face to face with the tricolor goalkeeper.
