Negotiations with Caixa Econômica Federal over the Gasometer land, in the port area of ​​Rio, continue to advance. After meetings in Brasília, last week, and in Rio this past Monday (27), the club and the state bank came closer to defining a value for the area.

According to information from the portal "O Globo", the Mais Querido should soon know the price that Caixa wants to charge for the Gasologista land. The bank manages the area on behalf of the Porto Maravilha real estate fund. The information was given by federal deputy Pedro Paulo.


According to parliamentarian, Caixa must present the final value of the Gasometer land within three days. Pedro Paulo even advanced the price per square meter that should be used to calculate the total value. This amount would be R$2,400.00 per square meter. In free calculation, the total would reach R$ 208,800.00.

HOW MUCH CAN FLAMENGO OFFER?

Mais Querido has already made it clear that he wants to pay less than R$250 million for the area in Rio's port area. Initially, Caixa valued the land at R$450 million, but this value referred to the original area of ​​114 thousand square meters. Rio's city hall, however, expropriated around 27 thousand square meters for the construction of the Gentileza intermodal terminal.

Luiz Eduardo Baptista will launch his candidacy for the presidency of Flamengonext Monday (9). Among the news that will be released, in addition to the Government Plan, are the names of some possible vice-presidents who will join your board in case of victory. One of the names is already known: Flávio Willeman, who could resume his position as legal vice-president of the club.

Flávio Willeman was even approached to be a presidential candidate by the opposition, he chose to support BAP . The leader's name was also mentioned to occupy the position of general VP on the ticket, in addition to being listed as presidential candidate for the Deliberative Council.

FLÁVIO WILLEMAN'S RESUME

Flávio Willeman is a lawyer , with a PhD in Law from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and a master’s degree from Universidade Cândido Mendes. He has served as Attorney for the State of Rio de Janeiro since 2000 and was appointed deputy attorney general of the State in 2021.


Flávio was legal vice-president of Flamengo during the two terms of Eduardo Bandeira de Mello (2013 - 2018). During his management, Mais Querido faced more than 500 labor actions, a number that was reduced to just 52 when he left office.

In addition to Luiz Eduardo Baptista, Maurício Gomes de Mattos, Wallim Vasconcelos, Pedro Paulo and José Carlos Peruano are also candidates for the presidency of Flamengo. Voting will take place on December 9th.

However, the former president of Mais Querido, Márcio Braga, fears that Rubro-Negro's new home will harm the club. During the launch of Mengo's presidential candidate Maurício Gomes de Mattos, Márcio raised his tone and issued warnings about possible damage that the work at the Gasometer could cause.

NEXT STEPS

Now, Mais Querido will have up to five days to be able to deposit the amount of R$ 138 million to the City of Rio de Janeiro so that the Gasometer land definitely belongs to the club. From then on, a period of 18 months begins for Rubro-negro to present the executive project for the construction of the stadium.


The auction notice provides that, after the presentation of the executive project and obtaining of the necessary licenses, the work will be completed in 36 months, which allows us to estimate that the stadium will be inaugurated in 2029. The new VP of heritage, Marcos Bodin, announced that the inauguration could be on November 15, 2029, when the club completes 134 years.
