The Boys of Ninho will be present on three fronts to dispute elimination games, all return games, this Saturday (21). In the under-20 category, the opponent will be Madureira , at 3 pm, in Gávea, for the third phase of the OPG Tournament. The under-17 and under-15 boys will enter the field to try to get a place in the Carioca decisions, against Fluminense, at 10 am, in Gávea, and against Vasco, away from home, at 2:45 pm, at the Nivaldo Pereira Stadium, in Nova Iguaçu, respectively.
In search of qualification for the fourth phase of the OPG, Flamengo takes on Madureira, after beating the same opponent 2-1 in the first leg, in Conselheiro Galvão . Defender Yago and midfielder Fred scored in the 25th and 45th minutes of the first half, respectively. The opponent reduced the deficit in the second half, but did not continue the comeback.
The opponent in the OPG will come from the match between Fluminense and Nova Iguaçu. In the first match, the team from Baixada Fluminense won 1-0, away from home, in Xerém. The second match will be on Friday (20), at 10 am, at the Nova Iguaçu CT.
In the semifinals of the Under-17 Carioca, the mission will be to take advantage of the opponent. The Rubro-Negro was defeated 1-0 by Fluminense, at the Marcelo Vieira Stadium, in Xerém, in the first leg , after conceding a goal early on. In their favor, the fact that one of the spots in the final will be decided at Gávea. In the other group, Vasco defeated Botafogo 1-0, at Nivaldo Pereira. The return leg will be this Saturday, at 10 am, at the Nilton Santos Stadium.
In the match against Vasco da Gama, in the duel for a spot in the final of the Carioca Sub-15, the facts were reversed. Playing at home, Fla defeated its rival 3-2, in Gávea, in a very competitive game . The team coached by João Fernandes took the lead in the 9th minute, with Guilherme and suffered the equalizer seven minutes later. Guilherme scored again in the first half, in the 28th minute, and Nathan extended the lead in the 8th minute of the second half. The opponent, however, reduced the deficit in the 29th minute.
The other spot in the semifinals is between Botafogo and Fluminense . In the first match, last Thursday (19), at Nilton Santos, Tricolor won 1-0. The second game is scheduled for Sunday (22), at 9 am, in Xerém.
In addition to this weekend's matches, the under-16 red-and-black team is competing for the Copa Rio title against Vasco. Playing at Gávea, Fla was defeated 3-1 in the first game of the final. The decisive duel is scheduled for the 29th, at 10 am, at Nivaldo Pereira.

Flamengo returns to the field this Sunday (05), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), to face Bahia, at Arena Fonte Nova , in Salvador. The duel is valid for the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship and will be broadcast exclusively by Premiere (pay-per-view).
The Rubro-Negro faces the Tricolor with some important absences : Erick Pulgar remains out for physical reconditioning after recovering from a fifth metatarsal injury in his right foot. The midfielder is only expected to return after the next FIFA International Matchday.
Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro are suspended after receiving their third yellow card in the draw with Cruzeiro on Thursday (02). Saúl Ñíguez felt pain in his left ankle and did not travel to Salvador , being preserved by the technical committee.
Coach Rogério Ceni will need to be creative when putting together a team against Flamengo . Bahia has 13 players out due to injuries and suspensions:

Bahia held its last training session this Saturday morning (4) before the match against Flamengo , in the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship. The preparation, which lasted two days, ended with tactical work led by Rogério Ceni , while the defensive sector underwent specific activities under the guidance of assistant Nelson Simões.
The Tricolor coach faces a long list of 12 absences, including suspensions and players sent to the medical department. On the other hand, the coach received two pieces of good news: the return of Acevedo after serving a suspension, and the possible early return of defender David Duarte, who trained with the squad and may be included earlier than expected. His return was scheduled for after the FIFA international break.
If David Duarte is released, he will form a central defensive partnership with Rezende. Otherwise, Fredi Lippert is expected to fill the role .
