FlaBasquete continues to prepare for the match against Corinthians in the quarterfinals of the New Basketball Brazil (NBB). The National Basketball League confirmed this Sunday (4) the dates and times of the series that begins on Saturday, May 10, at 11 am, at the Wlamir Marques gym, in São Paulo . The red-black team arrives in high spirits after eliminating Caxias do Sul 3-1 in the round of 16.
Having finished second in the regular phase, Orgulho da Nação secured the right to play three of the five possible games in the series as the home team . Corinthians advanced after defeating União Corinthians by the same score and will be Flamengo 's opponent in the fight for a place in the semifinals.
According to the rules, the team with the best record will start the series away from home. Thus, the first duel will be in São Paulo. Next, Rubro-Negro will play two matches at Tijuca Tênis Clube, on May 13th and 15th . If necessary, the fourth match will take place again at Wlamir Marques, on the 18th, and the fifth and decisive game will be in Rio de Janeiro, on May 21st.
