Flamengo is in the market looking for reinforcements for the team. Along with this, some players should consider leaving Mais Querido in the next transfer window. One of them is Matheus França, who has attracted the attention of European clubs. However, Fla hopes to receive a favorable offer to negotiate the young man. Matheus França, who has a contract with Flamengo until 2027, has a termination fine of around 1 billion reais. However, Rubro-Negro does not intend to facilitate the wishes of clubs interested in the athlete. This is because Mais Querido expects a bigger proposal than the previous ones. The information was released by the Lance portal.

In January 2023, Flamengo received an offer of €16 million (approximately R$90 million) for Matheus France. However, aware that the 19-year-old player has a place in European football, Rubro-Negro only accepts offers above 20 million euros (R$ 107 million at the current price).

It is important to highlight that Flamengo initially received offers from three clubs interested in Matheus França: Newcastle (ING), Crystal Palace (ING) and Bayer Leverkusen ( ALE). However, Rubro-Negro refused them all and expects new offers to appear in July, when the transfer window reopens.

While waiting to define the future, Matheus França remains focused on the next commitments with Rubro-Negro. Flamengo faces Ñublense (CHI), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time) this Wednesday (24), at the Concepción Stadium, in Chile. The match will be valid for the fourth leg of the Libertadores group stage and will be broadcast on Rede Globo (open channel) and Paramount (streaming).
