The legal dispute surrounding the auction of the land desired by Flamengo for the construction of a new stadium had a new development this Wednesday (31). The Federal Regional Court of the 2nd Region authorized the continuation of competition for the area located in the Gasometer region, in the center of Rio de Janeiro.
This decision revokes the injunction granted by the 7th Federal Court of Rio de Janeiro, which had suspended the auction. The call was published on July 9, and the auction is scheduled for this Wednesday, at 2:30 pm (Brasília time), in the CASS Auditorium, Centro Administrativo Municipal São Sebastião.
