History was written in Flamengo's last clash in the Campeonato Carioca, when the team conceded just one goal throughout the entire competition. With this milestone, the red-and-black club achieved an unprecedented feat, becoming the least leaked defense in the history of the tournament. This is a milestone that highlights not only the team's defensive solidity, but also the dominance demonstrated on the field throughout the matches. FLAMENGO'S HISTORY IN THE CARIOCA CHAMPIONSHIP

Over the decades, Flamengo has established a reputation for excellence in Brazilian football, and the Campeonato Carioca has always been a fertile ground for the club's memorable achievements. Since its founding, Flamengo has been a dominant force on the national football scene, winning titles and accumulating records that have helped shape its rich and glorious history.

Comparatively, only Fluminense< /a> in 1911 achieved a similar feat, finishing the Campeonato Carioca with the title and conceding just one goal throughout the competition. However, it is important to note that, that year, Tricolor only played six matches, which makes Flamengo's record even more impressive, considering the number of games and the fierce competition they faced throughout the season.

One of the highlights of Flamengo's impressive defensive journey is the remarkable performance of goalkeeper Rossi, who accumulated a total of 875 minutes without conceding goals. This feat puts Rossi in the spotlight, showing his consistency and skill under pressure, fundamental to achieving this historic record.

Despite being close to the club's absolute record, set by Cantarele in 1978-1979, With 959 minutes without being leaked, Rossi has been a key player in Flamengo this season. His dedication and skill have been evident in each match, providing security and confidence to the team at crucial moments.

Last Wednesday (18), representatives from Flamengo and Caixa Econômica Federal held another meeting to resolve the impasse surrounding the Gasologista land, acquired by the club in July. The meeting had the support of Rio de Janeiro City Hall and the Attorney General's Office (AGU), and a new meeting scheduled for next week, in Brasília, could seal the definitive agreement. The information was released by journalist Diogo Dantas, from the newspaper "O Globo".

Mengão's board of directors, represented by president Rodolfo Landim, vice-general Rodrigo Dunshee, CEO Reinaldo Belotti and vice-president of equity Marcos Bodin, was optimistic about the possibility of a solution soon. Caixa questions the amount paid by the club at the land auction, but everything indicates that an additional amount could resolve the legal conflict by next month.

INVOLVEMENT OF THE CITY OF RIO

The meeting was also attended by deputy Pedro Paulo and the club's director of external relations, Cacau Cotta, who have acted as intermediaries between the club and the mayor from Rio, Eduardo Paes. In August, a meeting involving the bank's president, Carlos Vieira, president Lula and mayor Eduardo Paes had already signaled the path to an agreement.

IMPORTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT FOR FLAMENGO

Mais Querido's director of external relations, Cacau Cotta, highlighted that the agreement is the ideal way to give peace of mind to the club. "For the club, a good agreement is always better than an eternal discussion about values. The land has already been expropriated. The agreement is ideal to eliminate any doubts and for Flamengo to have the necessary peace of mind to begin the work", said Cotta.

This is not the first incident of its kind involving Flamengo fans, which contributed to the decision to impose a significant fine.

VALUES DISCLOSED

The value The total fine was set at US$20,000 (equivalent to R$110,400). Furthermore, Conmebol ordered Flamengo to pay an additional US$13,300 (around R$73,600) to cover expenses related to hospitality space during the game, a responsibility that, according to article 4.2.13 of the Libertadores Club Manual, is from the home club.
