The Flamengo managed to restructure itself financially and can now invest heavily in the squad, signing the main athletes in South America. For this reason, Mais Querido is on the list of the 50 clubs with the most investment in signings in the world, with 208 million euros (R$ 1.2 billion) in the last five years.
According to data from the CIES Football Observatory, Rubro-Negro was in 43rd place on the list of clubs with the most investments in the world. Flamengo is the Brazilian team with the most money spent on signings in the last five years compared to Botafogo (85 million euros) and Palmeiras (75 million euros).
