This Saturday, March 30th, the red and black fans will have a special reinforcement in the first game of the Carioca Championship decision. In another edition of the "Nação no Maraca" action, which is part of Flamengo's Social Inclusion agenda, there will be a thousand people represented by 10 social institutions in Rio de Janeiro, coming from different locations, such as:
CUFA – Central Única das Favelas; Red-black autistic people; Coletivo Mães da Gávea; Girls Who Love Football, from Jardim América; Social Project Esporte Presente, from Nova Iguaçu; First Chance Social Project, from Complexo da Coruja; Thinking about Security, from Andaraí; NGO Absorbing Amor, from Gávea; Associação Recomeçar, from the Parish; and Bom Esporte CDD, from Cidade de Deus.
In the last year alone, the action has already benefited 11,600 people who had the unique opportunity to experience the emotion of a Flamengo game. Through the action, indigenous peoples, homeless people, people in compliance with socio-educational measures, refugees, people with disabilities and those assisted by social institutions have already been to Maracanã.
By providing this unique experience, the action “ Nação no Maraca” not only offers entertainment and leisure, but also promotes the breaking down of barriers, social inclusion and the appreciation of groups in vulnerable situations, often made invisible by society. Maracanã, associated only with the sporting spectacle, becomes a space of welcome and equality.
CITY HALL PREPARES SPECIAL TRAFFIC SCHEMENext Saturday (2 ), the Flamengo will face Nova Iguaçu in the first game of the Campeonato Carioca final, at 5pm. As this is the decision of the State and an audience of up to 40 thousand fans is expected at Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro City Hall announced a special traffic scheme around the stadium.
The final will start at 5pm , but CET-RIO will begin closing the roads around the stadium three hours in advance, at 2pm, to facilitate the movement of fans. Important streets in the region, such as Prof. Eurico Rabello, Avenida Rei Pelé and Avenida Maracanã will be closed. After the game ends, at 6:30 pm, Dona Zulmira and Manoel de Abreu streets will be closed.

Sesc Flamengo, one of the main teams in Brazilian volleyball, underwent a significant reformulation for the 2024/25 season, and one of the main new additions to the squad is central Jussara. With extensive international experience and after an excellent spell at Maringá last season, the 28-year-old athlete spoke exclusively about her arrival at the club, her plans and the fierce competition for a place in the starting team.

The central position is one of those that has undergone the most changes in the Sesc Flamengo squad for the 2024/25 season. With the departure of Juciely and Valquíria, starters in the last three seasons, the club hired Lorena and Jussara to fill these vacancies. Now, they join Juju and Adria, who were already part of the team, and the competition for a place in the starting lineup promises to be intense.
