The staff for the Brazilian Championship match will include 55 traffic agents and supporters, 05 operational vehicles and 12 motorcycles.

CET-Rio technicians, in the Situation Room of the Operations and Resilience Center, will monitor all movement through cameras so that, if necessary

The Rio City Hall Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) informs that a special traffic operation was organized by CET-Rio this Sunday (01/06) for the Flamengo x Fortaleza game, for the Brazilian Championship . The match is scheduled for 6:30 pm, at the Maracanã stadium, in the North Zone of the city. From 4 pm, there will be road closures around the stadium. In addition to the regulated areas with parking bans, other roads will be restricted to parking from 10 am.

The force will include 55 traffic agents and support staff, 5 operational vehicles and 12 motorcycles. Furthermore, to reinforce traffic information, 13 variable message panels will inform about the times of closures and alternative routes.

CET-Rio technicians, in the Situation Room of the Operations and Resilience Center , will monitor all traffic movements using cameras so that, if necessary, adjustments can be made to the traffic light schedule to ensure smooth traffic flow. In addition, COR-Rio will use a drone to support the monitoring carried out by the teams.

The bans are set out in an ordinance published in the Official Gazette of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro on May 30, 2025.

– Counselor Olegário Street;

– Isidro de Figueiredo Street;

– Viscount of Itamarati Street, between São Francisco Xavier Street and Professor Eurico Rabelo Avenue;

– Maracanã Avenue, towards the Center, between São Francisco Xavier Street and Rei Pelé Avenue.

From 4:30pm to 10:30pm:

– Avenida Rei Pelé, two lanes towards the center, from Gate 2 of the stadium to the height of the Museu do Índio;

– Maracanã Avenue, towards Usina, between Mata Machado Street and São Francisco Xavier Street;

– Mata Machado Street, between Paula Sousa Avenue and Maracanã Avenue;

– Oduvaldo Cozzi Viaduct and its accesses;

– Access ramp from Rei Pelé Avenue to Maracanã Avenue, right after the Indian Museum;

– Professor Manoel de Abreu Avenue, towards the Center, between São Francisco Xavier Street and Rei Pelé Avenue;

– Dona Zulmira Street, between Professor Manoel de Abreu Avenue and São Francisco Xavier Street.
