WHAT A START HUH! VASCO'S NEW COACH APOLOGIZES TO FANS FOR DEBUT BY TAKING A THREAD

Flamengo applied a historic victory at Vasco da Gama last Sunday (02). This is because Rubro-Negro beat their opponent 6-1, in the seventh round of the Brazilian Championship. After the classic, Cruzmaltino coach Álvaro Pacheco apologized to the fans.

"I have to show my face and apologize. I think we have to understand that, if this result happened today, it was because I wasn't able to create relationships and conditions for the team to be more competitive. I don't like making excuses for my players. It's my fault and I'm responsible for this defeat", said Álvaro Pacheco, before completing:

"So, what I have to do is work and prepare my players. In addition to reinforcing the apology, what I ask is for them to believe. That what we are going to build will make them proud. When you is creating an idea for a game in such a dense competitive context, it takes time. I ask that you don't stop believing in the team", he concluded.

DEBUT WITH A GOLE

Álvaro Pacheco debuted as Vasco's new coach precisely in the defeat he took from Flamengo. The coach had around eight days to prepare the Cruzmaltino squad for the Classic of Millions. Despite having opened the scoring, the rival later saw Fla dominate the match and apply the historic chocolate.

In summary, Flamengo's goals were scored by: Everton Cebolinha, Pedro, David Luiz, Arrascaeta, Bruno Henrique and Gabigol. With the rout against Vasco, Rubro-Negro took the lead in the Brasileirão, after reaching 14 points.
