The dissatisfaction of Flamengo directors with CBF is not limited to refereeing the game against Red Bull Bragantino. This Sunday (5), vice-president of football Marcos Braz made a new complaint and questioned the absence of games at 11am in the fifth round, as Fla had to play a classic with Botafogo on a sunny morning in Rio de Janeiro three days after game at altitude last week.

The director, however, was asked why other Brazilian Championship games had to change their schedule. In this round, for example, the CBF moved Corinthians and Fortaleza from 4pm to 9pm this Saturday (4). Statements that made the director state that “he did not consider it impossible”, but again without stating why the club cannot do it.
The comments expose a split in the red-black board between Braz and Cacau Cotta. The director of external relations announced that he will also run for election as councilor this year, a position for which Braz will seek re-election, and angered the VP of football. Cacau is being banned from traveling with the suspect when Braz is present.

A fan favorite for Fluminense and currently playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers (ENG), midfielder Jhon Arias is back in the news in Brazil. According to journalist Julio Miguel Neto, Flamengo is already considering making an offer for the Colombian in the 2026 season.
