On a typically Rio night, with intense heat in Rio de Janeiro, Sesc RJ Flamengo began its journey in the Women's Superliga with a hard-fought victory. With many mistakes, Bernardinho's team only beat Barueri in the tie-break (3-2 - 25/15, 21/25, 25/18, 17/25 and 15/9), at Tijuca Tênis Clube, and added their first points in the competition.
