The politician highlights an illegality in the procedure adopted by Eduardo Paes in expropriating the land
|
The mayor of Rio de Janeiro expropriated the land from Gasologista to facilitate the purchase by Flamengo. However, Governor Cláudio Castro's undersecretary, Victor Travancas, wants to hinder Mais Querido's dream of owning a home, as he alleges the illegality of the procedure adopted by the mayor.
Victor wants to stop the construction of Mais Querido's stadium by asking for the annulment of the Decree by Eduardo Paes. The undersecretary's objective is to challenge the decision to expropriate the Gasometer land.
REQUEST FROM VICTOR TRAVANCASAccording to information from the Mundo Rubro-Negro portal, Victor sent a message to his colleagues asking for support and said that he was tired of waiting for a position from the MP-RJ, in addition to saying that he will "sacrifice" himself personally.
“Dear friends, I waited a week for any lawyer, or the Ministry Public, question in the Judiciary the illegal procedure of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro for the construction of the Flamengo stadium. As no one had the courage, once again, this humble lawyer, following in the footsteps of Master Sobral Pinto, will sacrifice himself personally and go to court today to annul the Decree of Mayor Eduardo Paes. I count on everyone's support in the fight for Morality.”
However, the undersecretary did not make clear the reason for his discontent nor did he point out the illegality. He guarantees that the expropriation is not correct, contradicting Cláudio Castro, who was in favor.
FLAMENGO'S POSITIONDespite Victor's discontent, Flamengo has not yet commented on the case, as well as the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is possible that the auction for the Gasometer land will take place in the coming months.
