Flamengo 's new signing in the last transfer window, Danilo opened up about his future when he retires from the pitch . With a contract until December 2026, the defender revealed that his dream is to have a TV show .
"I don't think about continuing in football. If that happens, I would need to be a coach.
I like the game, the tactical moves and the strategy. I'm not really passionate about the off-field part... But if I had to give an answer right now, I would say that I really like communication, talking to people, entertainment, telling stories. Maybe having a TV show, going around Brazil interviewing people," said the player.
Danilo also highlighted his dream of studying psychology . The defender is well-known in football for always helping other players with advice.
" I dream of studying Psychology at university.
Maybe not to work in a clinic, but to use it in communication and help people around me ," he concluded.
FOCUS ON RECOVERY
While Danilo is not retiring, the defender remains focused on Flamengo and his recovery from injury . Thus, the defender should only be available to Flamengo in the coming weeks. The Mais Querido returns to the field on Thursday (3), against Deportivo Táchira (VEN), for the Libertadores .
The coach has managed to get the Mengão player back to playing at a high level at Real Madrid and the Brazilian star defends his stance.

2002 World Cup winner Rivaldo approved of how Xabi Alonso has handled his relationship with Vini Jr. at Real Madrid. In an interview with Betfair, the former player commented on the Spanish coach's decision to leave the Flamengo-born striker on the bench for the second round of La Liga against Real Oviedo .

Flamengo already knows its next opponent in the Copa Libertadores : Estudiantes de La Plata (ARG), in the quarterfinals. Even before the ball kicked off, the president of the Argentine club and idol Juan Sebastián Verón took to social media to criticize CONMEBOL, following Independiente's exclusion from the Copa Sudamericana.
