The Flamengo said goodbye this Friday (10) to a fundamental character behind the scenes at the club: psychologist Maria Eduarda Wolf, known as Duda Wolf. Duda ended his story of 25 years of dedication to Rubro-Negro, The psychologist, who worked with the under-20 team, shared his gratitude in a beautiful message through his social networks.
“One life in Flamengo! Moments, experiences and emotions... Moments, experiences and emotions that I learned from an early age how much this shirt impacts people's lives. From athlete to club professional, I have been involved with Flamengo for at least 25 years. And what I experienced is something inexplicable”, wrote Duda Wolf.
LEARNING THAT FLAMENGO PROVIDED DUDA
Soon afterwards, Duda spoke about the lessons that FLAMENGO provided Flamengo told him: “With you Flamengo, I learned to have courage, to have the most dreamed of achievements, to rise again leaving the sadness for after the battles, to take a deep breath and not fear.”, shared the psychologist before completing:
“My boys, I will always be with you in my heart… Commission, no words for everything we have experienced… To all Flamengo professionals, you are special… Thank you to each one of you! Thank you, Flamengo, and see you soon”, concluded Duda.
DUDA WAS LOVED BY THE FLAMENGO PLAYERS
Maria Eduarda has a master's degree in social psychology and was the Psychology supervisor at the club. Furthermore, Duda had direct contact with the Rubro-Negro base players and was adored by her "boys". The psychologist played a fundamental role in winning the under-20 Libertadores.

After finding out who their opponents will be in the quarter-finals of the Brasileirão , Flamengo decided this Tuesday (8) which team they will face in the third phase of the Women's Copa do Brasil: Operário-MS, in a single match for a place in the round of 16.
Therefore, the date for the match between Flamengo and Operário-MS will be August 6th, with Mais Querido playing at home. The draw for the matches defined who would be the home team of the match and, as it was drawn first, Mengo won the right to play at home. The dates may still be subject to adjustments by the CBF.
It is worth noting that Flamengo enters the competition in the third phase, where the 16 teams from the Brasileirão Feminino Series A enter the tournament and join the 16 teams that qualified from the second phase. Operário started in the first phase and advanced after beating Mixto-PB and Remo.
The Meninas da Gávea drew 1-1 with Grêmio last Wednesday (18), which was even lamented by striker Vitoria Almeida, in the women's Brasileirão. The Mais Querido remained in fifth place and will now face Palmeiras in the quarterfinals of the tournament.

On Saturday morning (5), Clube de Regatas do Flamengo competed in the Third Regatta of the 2025 State Rowing Championship, held at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. After great performances in the first two stages of the season, the red-black team maintained the high level and repeated the feat : VICTORY! There were nine triumphs in races, as in previous regattas.
The day began with a gold medal for the Macaquinho Sagrado athletes in the Women's Four Skiff event. Soon after, Flamengo won gold and silver in the same competition — the Men's 4 — showing the strength of the team. They didn't make it to the podium in the next event, but the team soon won again and secured more medals throughout the morning. In total, there were 17 medals for Flamengo.
With this result, Mengão remains in the lead of the State Championship. The competition calendar will continue on August 31, October 5 and November 16.

On Saturday night, the 21st, Flamengo's Social Responsibility department was notably recognized with the AIDEP Social Impact Award during the FutEdu Summit 2025. The ceremony took place at the Hard Rock Café, in Curitiba, and brought together representatives of clubs and institutions that work with sports and social impact in South America.
Organized by the International Association for the Development of Sports and Parasports - AIDEP, the award is a recognition given to clubs and institutions that use football as a tool for social transformation.
The award highlighted Flamengo's Social Responsibility work as a reference in promoting opportunities for children and teenagers from socially vulnerable contexts, combining football with socio-emotional education, such as Jogaremos Juntos, Flamengo's social project, which includes 1,000 children and teenagers in eight communities in Rio and Baixada Fluminense, as well as other social initiatives of the club that have already impacted more than 200,000 people.
“Welcoming Flamengo to the FutEdu Summit is an immense honor. A club with so much history and relevance in Brazilian football inspires and further strengthens our commitment to education through sport,” said Diogo Netto, CEO of the FutEdu Summit.
The main objective of the Award is to recognize, value and encourage football schools and social projects that use sport as a tool for innovation, education and social transformation. It promotes visibility, strengthens good practices and establishes a standard of excellence in the sports-educational sector.
