On Friday night (7), Meninas da Gávea returns to the field to face Grêmio, in the Brasileirão Feminino. Thus, Mais Querido will have a more than special reinforcement for the confrontation: the return of striker Cristiane to the starting lineup. That's because, the ace of Rubro-Negro was at the service of the Brazilian National Team.


Cristiane was part of the team called up by coach Arthur Elias to join the "Amarelinha" squad in Brazil's two friendly games with a focus on in preparation for the Olympics. The team's last game was on Tuesday (4), at Arena Fonte Nova, in Bahia.


FLAMENGO HIGHLIGHT


Since arriving at Dearest, Cristiane has been a standout on the team. To date, she has played in 18 matches, scoring 16 goals. In a cut in the Brasileirão Feminino, Rubro-Negro's number 11 is the runner-up in the competition, with 11 goals, one goal less than top scorer Amanda Guimarães, from Palmeiras.

EXPECTAITA TO JOIN THE OLYMPIA SELECTION


As she was having a good time at Flamengo, Cristiane was once again called up to the Brazilian Women's Team. In the two friendlies played in Brazil, the Mais Queridostarted on the bench, but gained opportunities throughout the games. Thus, she lives with the expectation of being among the 23 called up to compete in the Paris Olympics.

Now, after returning from the national team, Cristiane will represent Flamengo in Brasileirão. Rubro-Negro returns to the field this Friday (7), at 9:30 pm, against Grêmio, at the Luso-Brasileiro Stadium. Mais Querido seeks to enter the G-4 to win a place in the next phase of the competition.
