Corinthians should announce in the next few days signing of goalkeeper Hugo Souza. The agreement between the club and Flamengo has been finalized, with only the exchange of documents and the bureaucratic process required to make the deal official.
The 25-year-old, 1.99m tall goalkeeper will arrive at the São Paulo club on loan until the end of the year, with option to purchase at the end of the season. According to information from the 'ge' portal, the clubs are now discussing a fixed price for the signing of Hugo by Corinthians at the end of the contract.
When he was on loan to Chaves, from Portugal, Flamengo set the value 1, 2 million euros (around R$7 million) for 50% of the economic rights. Timão considers it important to have a guarantee of purchase if the player stands out.
Corinthians' idea is to be able to announce the player before the transfer window opens and for Hugo to start training with the squad to get rhythm game until July 10th, when he will be released to play.
Hugo's last match was on April 27th, when he started for GD Chaves, from Portugal, against Casa Pia, for the 31st round of the Portuguese Championship. The Brazilian goalkeeper's team was relegated for finishing the competition at the bottom.
Hugo was revealed at Flamengo's academy and played 71 games for the club. Hugo's name pleased Corinthians, who have been looking for a new goalkeeper since Cássio went to Cruzeiro and Carlos Miguel sent him to the English club.
The club even negotiated with goalkeeper Santos, but the Fortaleza stopped negotiations and did not allow the player to leave. Flamengo announced the early opening of ticket sales for the three games it will play at Maracanã in August, all valid for the Brazilian Championship. Starting next Monday (August 4), fan club members will have priority access to purchase tickets, with differentiated prices according to the Programa Nação plan.
Ticket sales will be staggered, respecting the hierarchy of plans, before being opened to the general public. Purchases must be made exclusively through ingressos.flamengo.com.br , the official channel for ticket sales for the Mais Querido's games.
Members of the Nation Without Borders plan will be able to purchase up to two tickets per match, as long as they haven't already used the benefit this season. The window for this plan opens at 10 a.m. on August 4th. Prices follow the general public price list . Access to other plans will be progressively enhanced according to the club's schedule, before being released to fans without membership on dates to be announced later.
Fans seeking a unique experience can opt for the Fla+ Space , which offers an exclusive environment in the Lower East and West sectors, with a full buffet and free draft beer before kickoff. The additional cost is R$200 per ticket.
Members who purchase tickets for the Maracanã Mais and Oeste Inferior sectors can secure a spot in the Célio de Barros Parking Lot , next to the stadium. The cost is R$180 and must be purchased with the ticket, subject to availability.
