Wallim has long had the dream of being president of Flamengo, but does not have its own political group. However, he began talking to opposition groups who are looking for a single candidate to face Rodrigo Dunshee de Abranches, who must have the support of Landim, and Luiz Eduardo Baptista (Bap), who is trying to position himself as a kind of candidate for continuity of the management.

The opposition believes that Wallim can fill the same niche as Bap, who would appeal to many partners – a name that represents the legacy of the best part of Landim's management, which transformed Flamengo into an economic powerhouse , but distance yourself from the club's traditional policy, linked to Dunshee.
