Abel Braga, former coach of Mais Querido, revealed that he has bitterness with the club. Furthermore, Vasco's current technical director spoke about how Jorge Jesus never invited him to dinner at his house when they both lived in Portugal. Therefore, he called him "unfortunate".

The Portuguese coach recently spoke about how he wished Flamengo had warned him before replacing him. "He always had a lot of respect and politeness, I just thought they could say they were thinking of changing (coach), that's normal. At Inter, I had a good campaign and they had already chosen another coach. Zero problem", said Abel. /p>

As for Jorge Jesus, the coach talked about how they never met during the years they were living in the same country. "In the six years I worked in Portugal, he (Jorge Jesus) never invited me to dinner," he said.

"It wasn't mean, but he was unhappy, because he said he was waiting for me to invite him to dinner. And I said that I also waited six and a half years for him to invite me to dinner in Portugal" Abel explained. However, he also made a point of pointing out how there is no fight between them or even "gossip".

Carlinhos' performance in the last classic between Flamengoand Vasco, played on Sunday, has generated a wave of criticism and questions from the red and black fans. The striker, who entered the field in the 18th minute of the second half, replacing Bruno Henrique, played a discreet role and ended up failing to help the team in one of the most decisive moments of the match.

The classic, as always, was a game intense and highly anticipated by both fans, with great weight for the championship table and the morale of the teams. However, Carlinhos' entry, which lasted just 27 minutes, was considered below expectations, especially in a scenario where Flamengo was looking for a victory to distance itself from its rivals.

FLAMENGO HAS A DEFICIENCY IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP < /b>

During the 27 minutes he was on the field, Carlinhos barely appeared, failing to influence the game as expected. The player only touched the ball a few times, did not create clear scoring chances and also did not help efficiently in the defensive system. With an apathetic performance, the striker ended up becoming a target of frustration for the fans, who expected more from a player who, at other times, had already demonstrated the potential to be decisive.

The lack of offensive participation was a of the main points raised by critics. In a game that required creativity and boldness to break through the Vasco blockade, Carlinhos was unable to find spaces or impose his presence as a constant threat to the opponent's goal. In classics, where every detail makes a difference, this lack of protagonism weighed even more.

The replacement of Bruno Henrique by Carlinhoswas also a factor that generated discussion. Bruno Henrique, although he was not having a brilliant performance, is a player recognized for his ability to decide games, especially in big confrontations. His departure 18 minutes into the second half was justified by the coaching staff as part of the planning to spare the athlete, who recently returned from injury.

After taking charge of Flamengo, Tite, former coach of the Brazilian national team, made it clear that he is quickly adapting to the club's culture. In recent statements, he highlighted Rubro-Negro's striking characteristic: the incessant search for all possible titles. According to the coach, this spirit of intense competition is something that he not only admires, but is also incorporating into his own work philosophy.

Tite, known for his meticulous and results-focused work, revealed that the Transition to Flamengo involves constant learning, especially in relation to the club's winning mentality. "Flamengo has this culture of fighting for every title. There is no focus on just one competition, the goal is to win everything within reach", he explained.

THE COACH WANTS A COMPETITIVE STYLE

This characteristic is notable in Flamengoin recent years, which has won several important competitions, such as the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Libertadores. Tite, accustomed to pressure and the need for results, states that this mentality is something he is adopting in his day-to-day life at the club. “I see this culture, and this is what we are doing. Flamengo has this requirement, and I am a coach who likes this type of challenge.”

Although Tite has an established career, with successful spells at clubs such as Corinthians and the Brazilian national team, Flamengo represents a new experience for the coach. He is now at the helm of a team that has traditionally had fans calling for victories in every competition they compete in, something he sees as a positive challenge.

"You have to learn every day Even with the experience I have, here I realize that there are very high expectations, but at the same time that's what makes you grow", commented the coach. For him, working at a club that maintains such a high level of demand motivates him to always seek the best.

FAILED? IN THE LANDIM MANAGEMENT, ONLY ONE COACH MANAGED TO STAY AT FLAMENGO FOR MORE THAN A YEAR

Will Tite last? Jorge Jesus was the only coach who took the heat and stayed at Mengão for more than 12 months; Since the president began his term, the club has changed football management 9 times

Flamengo is about to start a new chapter with a coach. Tite will be the 10th to take command of the red-black men's football team in less than four years. During the entire term of club president Rodolfo Landim (2019 - until now), only one coach was able to remain in office for more than a year. Can Tite do it too?

Jorge Jesus holds the record for time coaching Flamengo during the Landim season. Mister took over the team in June 2019 and had one of the best seasons in Mengão's history. He remained with the job until July of the following year (2020), when he decided, of his own free will, to leave the club and return to Europe, for family reasons.

It should be mentioned that the previous coach to Jesus was Abel Braga, who also resigned and, besides them, Dorival Júnior was the only other professional who was not removed from the club by the red-black board itself. In the case of the Brazilian, his contract was just not renewed.

Apart from these three situations, the other 6 coaches were fired, either for poor performance or for any other reasons. Remember how long each coach spent working at Mais Querido in these last four seasons:

1st - Abel Braga - January 2019 to May 2019 (4 months)

2nd - Jorge Jesus - June 2019 to July 2020 (1 year and 1 month)

3rd - Domènec Torrent - July 2020 to November 2020 (4 months)

4th - Rogério Ceni - November 2020 to July 2021 (8 months)

5th - Renato Gaúcho - July 2021 to November 2021 (4 months)

6th - Paulo Sousa - January 2022 to June 2022 (5 months)

7th - Dorival Júnior - June 2022 to November 2022 (5 months)

8th - Vítor Pereira - January 2023 to April 2023 (3 months)

9th - Jorge Sampaoli - April 2023 to September 2023 (5 months)

< However, it was a period of many trophies, even if they were all concentrated in the hands of 3 names: Jorge Jesus, Rogério Ceni and Dorival Júnior. In total, the three coaches have won two Copa Libertadores (2019 and 2022), two Brazilian Championships (2019 and 2020), two Brazilian Super Cups (2020 and 2021), two Guanabara Cups (2020 and 2021), one Recopa Sudamericana ( 2020), two Carioca Championships (2020 and 2021) and one Brazilian Cup (2022).

It is interesting to remember that Tite may even be joining Flamengo in the next few days, but he will only spend a short time under the command of Rodolfo Landim. The president's term ends at the beginning of 2024 and he does not intend to seek re-election.
