It is not new that bookmakers already dominate the main sponsorships of Brazilian football Series A clubs, and also of other clubs around the world. In this sense, the figures traded in the Brasileirão are close to almost half a billion reais per year.Market on the rise
The betting houses are biggest sponsors of 15 of the 20 teams in the Brasileirão. Only Bragantino, Cuiabá, Grêmio, Inter and Palmeiras do not have companies in the segment as their main sponsor. The combined value exceeds R$450 million annually. Of all those involved, only Criciúma and Vasco did not disclose the amounts involved in their commercial agreements.
The largest contract is that between Corinthians and Vai de Bet, which totals R$123 million per year. Flamengo, receiving R$85 million annually from Pixbet, appears close behind, followed by Superbet's agreements with São Paulo and Fluminense — at base values of R$52 million and R$42 million, respectively, not counting bonuses.
In addition to sponsorships, the segment also entered the naming rights business. Casa de Apostas purchased, at the end of last year, the right to name Arena Fonte Nova for four seasons for the sum of R$52 million.
Sponsorships multiplying
The high Investment from bookmakers has been leveraging sponsorship values, making clubs receive more money. Vai de Bet's contract with Corinthians, for example, was closed at the beginning of this year, as was the readjustment of Pixbet's agreement with Flamengo.
For people linked to the segment and sports marketing, the tendency is for figures still increase. The very competition between companies in the sector makes contracts more crowded. As a result, clubs move more money in an increasingly inflated market.

Since the victory over Fluminense on July 20, Flamengo's defense has faced a challenge in the absence of Danilo. On Monday afternoon (11), Conmebol confirmed that the 2025 Copa Libertadores da América final will be played at the Monumental Stadium in Lima, Peru, on November 29. This will be the second time that the venue hosts a tournament decision, after having hosted Flamengo 's historic victory over River Plate in 2019.
