Eight days before the first game of the Copa do Brasil final, between Flamengo and São Paulo, leaders of the Autistas Rubro-Negros and Sou Tricolor Autista fans met in front of Morumbi on the afternoon of last Saturday. Rôsangela Barbosa, mother of little João Pedro, was the representative of Sou Tricolor Autista, while Marcos Felipe Leal, father of teenagers Felipe and Gabriela, was present for Autistas Rubro-Negros.

"A few hours before a grand final, we from the Sou Tricolor Autista movement, had the opportunity to find the inclusive Rubro-Negro fans. The aim of raising the flag of the opposing fans was to demonstrate that, even among our differences, we have to promote a culture of peace in the stadiums. We don't need to kill each other because we support different clubs. On the contrary : the union between fans can change the world. Marcos Felipe echoed Rôsangela's words and highlighted that, during their meetings in São Paulo, he and representatives of other inclusive fans expressed opposition to the issue of single fans in stadiums.
"The idea through this meeting with Rô, from Tricolor Autista, and meetings with people from Palmeiras and Corinthians is that rivalry is what matters least. That it is possible for you to support different teams, but with a lot of respect, friendship and affection. This does not change anything about our plans and dreams regarding inclusion. This issue of single fans, for example, is meaningless. We want to try to promote the idea that it is possible to go to the stadiums if you are autistic, wheelchair-bound or anything. And, even if you support different teams, you can watch a game in peace and quiet. It is possible to have fun, play and make fun without violence. This is possible, and this is the message we want to convey through this meeting" - added Marcos Felipe.
Who will lift the Copa do Brasil trophy: São Paulo or Flamengo? The answer will only be given on 24 of September, in Morumbi, but the champions of solidarity, inclusion and love for others left on Saturday.
