0Anderson Daronco was considered the 'worst referee in Brazil' in a survey carried out in 2022. The choice was made by the players themselves, who also ended up agreeing that he was the best referee in the country. Good or bad, Daronco will officiate the very important games between São Paulo and Flamengo in the coming weeks.
The Copa do Brasil final between the two clubs will take place on September 17th and 24th. With the anticipation growing, as well as the agitation, the fans on both sides did not seem very happy with the CBF's announcement this Thursday (07) that the judge would be the leader of the refereeing team for the clashes.
It is possible to understand, in part, the reaction of the fans due to the history that Daronco has. Last year, 'UOL' carried out an extensive survey in which players who work in Brazil voted, separately, on who would be the best and worst referee in the country.
Impressively, Daronco won both votes. And the result was very balanced: he was named by 27% of the players as the best referee in Brazil, just as for 27% of them he is the worst of all. During the 2022 season, he refereed 39 matches, in the different championships. He was one of the most active referees at the time.
The first game between Flamengo and São Paulo will be on the 17th (Sunday) at Maracanã at 4pm (Brasília time). The next match will be at Morumbi a week later, on Sunday the 24th, at the same time. Before the final, however, both teams still have commitments to the Brasileirão during the week. Mais Querido faces Athletico-PR next Wednesday (13).

The last time Arrascaeta directly participated in a goal for Flamengo was in the March 9th, in the first semi-final of the Campeonato Carioca, against Fluminense. After that, the Uruguayan midfielder participated in nine other clashes, but failed.
During this period, Arrascaeta participated in plays in the offensive sector that resulted in goals. Furthermore, the Uruguayan midfielder suffered a penalty against Millonarios (COL), in Bogotá, in the first round of the Copa Libertadores de América, which was converted by center forward Pedro.
FLAMENGO SITUATIONAfter two matches without victories, the Flamengo recovered this season with triumphs against Corinthians, 2-0, in the Brazilian Championship and against Bolívar (BOL), achieving a 4-0 victory, in a clash for the Copa Libertadores of America. The results eased fans' protests against the squad, board and coach Tite.

0Anderson Daronco will whistle the final of the Copa do Brasil. The information was released by the CBF this Thursday (07). In addition to him, the entire refereeing team has also been defined, but it was the controversial judge who moved fans on both sides on social media.
Flamengo will face São Paulo in the final of the Copa do Brasil on the 17th and 24th of September. For the first time, the two games will be on Sunday at 4pm (Brasília time), with the first taking place at Maracanã and the second at the Morumbi stadium.
With much anticipation, Flamengo and São Paulo fans are waiting for the decision and this Thursday's news shocked many. This is because Anderson Daronco, who will be the main referee for the matches, was involved in a scandal last weekend.
Many fans and commentators complained about his performance in the game between Corinthians and Palmeiras in the 22nd round of the Brazilian Championship. The judge was criticized for changing his mind about a card he gave Maycon minutes later. First he received a yellow card, but, with the subsequent intervention of VAR, he was sent off the field.
In addition to this recent moment, Daronco has already been involved in several confusions, including in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil, when Flamengo faced Fluminense. He expelled Felipe Melo in a condition very similar to Maycon, which also angered the tricolors at the time.
