“ To be the first book we made, it is well defined and very detailed. Of course it's not everything, because we summarize some things, because the book would be too big. Because very large book, the person arrives halfway, put that business inside and forget it inside the drawer. It's an objective thing, a quiet thing, and my life is a life you know. No one works four, five times in Flamengo, or five times in Vasco, three times in Botafogo, or three in Fluminense, Pottery, America, Africa, is a lot to say in the book. We try to define and go to the main points of what the book could absorb. ”
Joel Santana It is one of the most striking figures of Rio de Janeiro football, being the only state champion for all four big ones in Rio de Janeiro with seven trophies. The former coach ended his career in 2017, when he directed Boavista, his last club.
Papa Joel is one of the coaches with the most passages through Flamengo in history: five. He trained the club in 1996, 1998, 2005, 2007 and 2012. That is, it was hired in three different decades.
