Flamengo called on the members of the Deliberative Council to vote, on July 1st, on shirts 1,2 and 3 for the 2025 season. It will be the 13th year of the current partnership with Adidas and the first of the new contract with which Flamengo intends to earn R$100 million per year until 2029, but to do so it will need to sell at least 2 million shirts per season.
The uniforms need approval from the board before they are produced. Last year, the number 3 shirt created controversy after the launched model included a red stripe that had not been approved by councilors. A new vote was necessary before the model could debut, which ended up happening only this year although the model was launched in September last year.
A new number 3 shirt will be launched in 2024, which has already it was approved by councilors last year, but has not yet debuted. The shirt will be black with a diamond-shaped pattern in the background. The objective is to explore the concept that the club forms jewels at its base. The numbering will be silver.
The new number 1 and number 2 shirts to be voted on will be those used in the FIFA Club Super World Cup, in July 2025.
In addition to the uniforms, The councilors will also vote in the Deliberative Council session on the amendment signed by President Rodolfo Landim which determines that the Code cannot evaluate, in the same term of office of a president, twice a proposed amendment to the statute on the same subject.
< This week, Landim confirmed that he intends to run for president of the Deliberative Council in December. Last year, he publicly complained about the opposition's attempt to put back to the vote an amendment that regulated the off-Rio membership modality after the Statute Committee had modified the original proposal and included a limit of one thousand members in the category.

To secure a spot in the tournament's quarterfinals, the Rio de Janeiro club needs to win by two goals. If they win by just one goal, the match will be decided on penalties. This match is considered a priority by the coach and squad, who are striving to keep the club alive in all competitions this season.
Even with the momentary focus on the Copa do Brasil , the red-black fans are already mobilizing for the team's next big commitment of the season: the first leg against Internacional in the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores da América.
