Top scorer Flamengo in the season, Pedro continues to climb the club's list of historic scorers. This Sunday, the goal that decided Fla-Flu made the number 9 surpass the historical idol Adílio and assumed the position of 13th highest scorer in the history of Flamengo.

The number 9 of the nest reached 129 goals with the Flamengo shirt, one more than Adílio, member of the golden generation of the 80s. He is now 20 goals away from passing Zizinho and entering the top 10 in the club's historic goalscoring record.

< p>In 2024, Pedro reached 22 official goals (24 including friendlies) and is the top scorer in Brazilian football this season, ahead of Mastriani, from Athletico-PR, who scored 19 times.

< b>Another world champion is close and must be surpassed by Pedro

Tite's absolute titleholder, Pedro has been collecting important marks in 2024. In March, he overtook Gabigol and became the top scorer of the new Maracanã. He was also the scorer of the 13,000th goal in Flamengo's history, the first club to reach the historic milestone.

The next player to be overtaken by Pedro in the search for the top 10 is another member of the 1981 world champion team , Tita, who has 135 goals and is the 12th highest scorer in Flamengo's history. In the current squad, Gabigol continues to be Flamengo's top scorer, with 156 goals, but Pedro is getting closer and closer to the now number 99, sixth highest scorer in Red and Black history.
